4 Longevity

Our 1-year anniversary celebration!
It's hard to believe it's already been 1 year since we opened 4sisterShop.

We have loved creating our unique store, although we continue to change and evolve.  It’s truly our passion and are enjoying it immensely. We’ve grown quite a bit in 1 year, and we look forward to continued growth and many more years.
Thanks so much 4 the support and kind words you've given us.  We couldn't do it without you and we want you to know we appreciate everything.

This month is also very special due to another anniversary.  Our parents are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary!!  Wow!  OK, a little more spectacular than our 1-year celebration.  :)
 So Beautiful

They were married in 1949, had their first child in 1953, and their 5th in 1962. They've always been devoted to each other and to their family.  What a blessing it is to have such loving parents.  To always know and feel you are loved is the best.  Mom and dad instilled in us the importance of faith and family and we’re so grateful for that as well.
Still so beautiful

asked my siblings, along with a few grandkids, for some words that come to mind when they think of mom and dad/grandma and grandpa.  It’s quite a list…

ALL of us included the word “loving” – such a perfect description of them!  The words said over and over were: Happy, Honest, Thoughtful, Caring, & Strong.  In addition to: Giving, Supportive, Positive, Kind, Hardworking, Artistic, Competitive, Talkative, Quiet, and Proud.

They continually share how proud they are of all of us - their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren (all 56 of us!).  Mom and dad were in our shop one day last year and carried on a conversation with one of our customers.  This same customer came in the other day (during our anniversary celebration) and mentioned the conversation she had with them.  She said, “your parents couldn’t be more proud of all of you."  How sweet is that?!!  What they need to know is that all of their children and grandchildren are proud of them as well!  We are so proud to have them as parents and grandparents. Thanks for loving us, praying for us, and caring so deeply.  We love you so much!  Cheers to 65 wonderful years!!

With so much love, Donna (& all)
